As a part of my continuing education responsibility for Master Gardeners, I frequently visit public gardens both locally and while traveling. If I have my camera (as I almost always do), I take photos of both flowers and garden art to add to my collection. These gardens vary from primarily succulents (as Le Jardin D'Eze in Provence) to artistic creations (as the Memphis Botanical Garden) to typical garden flowers (as the many gardens or casual plantings I've seen while traveling). I think that flowers and shrubs add character to the landscape, and each is a unique creation to enjoy. The treat of a lifetime for a gardener was my photo workshop in Amsterdam in 2018. We were able to tour the famed Keukenhof Gardens outside the city as well as the actual tulip fields in Lisse, Netherlands. What displays of color!
