Photography is a journey for me, undertaken as I have been introduced to challenges in seeing the world around me in more detail and from different perspectives.  As a life-long learner, I like new challenges and have enjoyed capturing images that are both typical "postcard" views of travel as well as more unusual views seen while traveling or enjoying my own backyard.

This website is designed to share photos taken during my travels, both within the U.S. and outside the country, as well as photos of various gardens. I chose to present the photos as slide shows in order to maintain the integrity of the photo size and to offer viewers the option of sitting back and watching or "pausing" to use the arrows or select the thumbnails at the bottom.
