In January-February 2017 I participated in two photography workshops in India with Photo Workshop Adventures.  The first was in the Golden Triangle (Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur) as well as the Rajasthan cities of Mandawa, Pushkar, Varanasi.  The second was in the southwestern state of Kerala, where we visited Fort Cochin in the backwater area, nature reserves, tea plantations, and spent a night on a houseboat.  Between the two workshops, we were in Mumbai (Bombay), where we reconnected with a friend from the Croatia workshop.  At the end of the month as we traveled back to the U.S., we spent two days in Dubai in the UAE.  I was also spoiled on this trip by flying business class!  That was a real luxury.  This experience was full of color, friendly people, elephant rides, and wonderful accommodations.
