In September 2018 I participated with five other guests and our leader (Roman Martin) on a PhotoWorkshopAdventures experience in Portugal. It was delightful to reconnect with a couple from Denver whom I had met in Croatia as well as to meet three new friends. We began in the metropolitan city of Lisbon and did a couple of day trips out from the city in addition to exploring the various neighborhoods of Lisbon itself. We then went south to the Algarve region, where the highlight was a boat ride to explore the famous Sea Caves. After a long drive north from there to Porto and home to the vineyards making the port wine for which Portugal is famous, we enjoyed walking throughout the old city and driving through the vineyards. I've chosen to break this adventure into these four separate areas since Portugal was such a photogenic, if small, country. I hope you'll take all four trips with me. As has become my custom, I've begun each of the segments with my "Top Picks" followed by a fairly chronological slide show of what we saw.
