Most of my garden consists of perennials requiring low maintenance while producing beautiful flowers and shrubs. My goal is to expand color and blooming throughout the four seasons. So far, Spring far outweighs the other three seasons in my garden. I also enjoy capturing images of butterflies and pollinators working among the flowers. Eventually, I'll invest in a macro lens for my camera; to date, I have just tried to get close enough without getting stung! I have submitted some photos to the Arkansas Master Gardeners' annual calendar and in 2014 had one selected to appear as an inset on the April page. It was a blossom from a tree peony with dew drops on it. My goal is to have one selected for a feature month.
